Get started · Secretariat

Your browser.
A little more capable.

Install Action8 once in each browser profile you use for work. Your administrator controls which websites and actions are available.

Before you start
Use a desktop browser with Tampermonkey installed and permitted by your organization. Browser or extension restrictions can prevent early ticket requests from being captured. Contact your administrator if those settings are managed.

01

Install Tampermonkey

Visit the official Tampermonkey website and follow its link for your browser. Add the extension and keep it enabled. Then complete the browser permission step below before connecting Action8.

02

Enable user scripts in your browser

Required for Chrome and Edge: installing Tampermonkey and Secretariat alone does not grant permission to run user scripts. Without this permission, the connection page cannot show the work email form.

  1. Open a new tab and enter chrome://extensions in Chrome or edge://extensions in Edge.
  2. Find Tampermonkey and open Details.
  3. Turn on Allow User Scripts. If your browser does not show that switch, return to the extensions page and enable Developer mode.
  4. After changing the setting, refresh the Action8 connection page if it is already open.

This browser permission applies on Windows as well as macOS. If the setting is managed or unavailable, contact your administrator. See Tampermonkey's permission instructions.

For capture at the start of a page: in Tampermonkey, choose Settings → Config mode: Advanced → Security → Content Script API → UserScripts API Dynamic, then click Save in the Security section. The default injection mode can miss the first ticket request. If your browser does not offer this option, ask your administrator to verify early capture before relying on reports. 03

Add the Action8 userscript

Select your organization's installer below. Tampermonkey should display the script's name and permitted websites. Choose Install.

Install for Yardline Tickets ↗

If the browser shows source code or downloads a file, verify Tampermonkey is enabled, then open this link again. Do not paste the script into the browser console.

04

Connect with your work email

Open the Yardline connection page, enter your authorized work email, and connect. Enrollment checks the email you enter against your organization's access policy; it does not verify ownership by sending an email.

Your browser profile keeps its installation credential so you can return without signing in each time. Another browser profile or computer needs its own installation.

05

Refresh your ticket page once

Open or refresh the approved evenue.net ticket page. Action8 can then observe the ticket request as the page loads. It may ask for another refresh if access was renewed after the page's early request.

For Yardline, reports show SEC/ROW/SEAT - BARCODE twice: section descending first, then section ascending. Rows and seats descend in both lists. Unchanged captures reuse the existing report to avoid repeated delivery.

Browser compatibility

First-request capture has been demonstrated with Chrome for Testing 145.0.7632.6 and Tampermonkey 5.5 using the settings above. Managed Chrome, Edge, and Firefox profiles need their own verification before use. Pages that enforce strict Trusted Types for scripts currently block runtime activation and are unsupported.

What Action8 collects

On approved pages, Action8 can collect permitted API response bodies, a sanitized copy of accessible page content, and limited click/typing event metadata. It excludes known authentication, payment, and credential fields and does not record arbitrary typed values. Only the top page is supported; cross-origin frames and shadow roots may be inaccessible.

Collected data is sent to More Action Technologies for processing and long-term storage. Your organization controls the permitted sites and report destinations. No collection runs on the enrollment page or outside your configured domain scope.

To pause, disable the Action8 userscript in Tampermonkey and reload open ticket pages. Ask your administrator to revoke an installation or request deletion of stored data. Removing the userscript does not delete server-side records.

If something needs attention

  • No connection form: open Tampermonkey's extension details and turn on Allow User Scripts (or Developer mode if that switch is unavailable). Check that Secretariat is enabled in Tampermonkey, then refresh the connection page. Follow the permission steps above.
  • No banner: connect first, then reload the approved ticket page. The script is inactive outside the configured scope.
  • Access denied: check your work email and contact your administrator. Reinstalling does not bypass revoked access.
  • Waiting for a patch: unknown faults require investigation. Keep the error reference for support; avoid sending ticket numbers or credentials.
  • Offline: Action8 keeps a bounded queue for up to 24 hours. Leave the page open and reconnect. Collection stops when the authorization lease expires.
  • Report not received: check the banner, spam folder, and configured destination with your administrator. A provider-accepted email can still be filtered or delayed.

Runtime updates are fetched automatically. When an update adds new website families, accept the Tampermonkey userscript update and refresh those pages.
